Diana Manole / Lecturer at Trent University, translator, scholar, writer, and dramaturg  
A Pushcart prize nominee, Diana’s poems have been published in the UK, the US, South Africa, Mexico, Brazil, Albania, Belarus, Canada, and Romania. Passionate also about translating poetry, she was most recently awarded 2nd prize in the 2017-18 John Dryden Translation Competition in the UK. 
 
Diana will read excerpts from her books, “Inger cu viză de Canada” (Angel with Canadian Visa), B&W, and “love in exile” (in development), reflecting on writing, living, and loving in a second language. She will also present short selections from her award-winning translations of poems by Emilian Galaicu Păun and Nora Iuga.
