Chris Tănăsescu
Poet, translator, professor of Digital Humanities at the University of Ottawa
Chris Tănăsescu is a poet, translator, and professor of Digital Humanities at the University of Ottawa. He is also the Asymptote Editor-at-Large for Romania and Moldova. As the founding member of the poetry, painting/video, and jazz-rock project MARGENTO, he won a number of major international awards. In 2016 he was invited to perform on the CROWD Omnibus Literary Tour (Germany and Austria). He published over twenty poetry collections and books in translation.
Chris Tănăsescu este poet, traducător și profesor de discipline umaniste digitale la universitatea din Ottawa. Este, de asemenea, redactor al revistei Asymptote pentru România și Moldova. În calitate de membru fundator al MARGENTO, trupă de poezie, pictură/video și jazz-rock, a câștigat un număr de distincții internaționale semni cative. În 2016, a fost invitat să se alăture turneului literar european CROWD Omnibus (segmentul Germania și Austria). A publicat peste douăzeci de volume de poezie și traduceri.
