Cosmina-Silvia Nistor has just come back from her research fieldwork in Romania. Having finished her undergraduate degree at Glendon College, York University, she is working on her masters in Development Studies. In her summers, she has done internships with both the Romanian Consulate in Toronto and the Roma Peoples Project at Columbia University. She has been working for York University since 2011 promoting bilingualism in the Explore program. She is also heavily involved in extracurriculars such as partaking in WUSC-Keele (world university service of Canada, ILFO (institute of leadership for women of Ontario), OCIC (Ontario council of international cooperation) and the CRS (centre for refugee studies) committee.
