Canadian novelist, short story writer, journalist and academic
Stephen Henighan is the author of fifteen books, most recently the short story collection, Blue River and Red Earth (Cormorant Books, 2018). His publications on Romanian subjects include the travel book, Lost Province: Adventures in a Moldovan Family (Beach Holme, 2002), which was translated into Romanian, and his English translation of Mihail Sebastian’s novel The Accident (Biblioasis, 2011). Henighan’s English translation of another novel by Sebastian, Oraşul cu salcâmi, is forthcoming.
Henighan teaches Spanish American literature at the University of Guelph.
